It is summertime! Lets talk food
Have you ever tried (or made) the spice mix za'atar or baharat? cuz word is...word!

i'll post recipe if ya want. Foo 2 u I post if /i/ want

Ingredients. 2 tablespoons thyme. 2 tablespoons oregano and/or marjoram. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted. 2 teaspoons ground sumac* 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt.

herby, nutty, citrus.
Rumor is that if you cant find sumac you could sub lemon zest for the citrus note but it wont keep as long.

4 tablespoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons ground coriander
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons ground cloves
3 tablespoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
4 tablespoons paprika
yield 2cups

I hear toasting the peppers n cinnamon sticks n such helps release the oils. fyi.

so you can skip reading it. boring!

last night i awoke pretty much every hour. Dunno why. Today even before work I was feeling the occassional random ping of light-headedness. I cracked open a gatoraid on the way in to keep my electrolite levels up, helped myself to salt during my breaks and , keeping in mind that leg muscles do a good part of moving blood around, kept moving my legs under the table in the hopes that if this is low blood pressure it would help. It kinda did. Filing this away for future use.

I am getting sort of annoyed that the doctors have put my concerns on hold for 3 weeks. I can't walk. I can't work. Why is this not a priority?? Cuz I'm a girl?
